Hot off the press is the 2025 One Lap of America route.

First thoughts are that this looks like it is going to be a fantastic One Lap. VIR, Hedge Hollow and Pitt Race are all great driving tracks. Flat Rock is a brand new circuit and it’s pretty unlikely that anyone will have real world experience on the track before this circus comes rolling through.

There’s 2 that I don’t know much about at all. World Wide Technology Raceway, formerly known as Gateway, is a roval circuit. Based on our performance at Nashville, this should be a good track for the Mini. Then there is Grattan Raceway. I got nothing on this one. It’s really far north and it’ll still be fairly early in the spring season… isn’t out of the question. Quaker City is just for the drag race event, so it’ll be cancelled.

Transits look reasonable. The trek from Hedge Hollow to Flatrock is the longest coming in at just under 11 hours, but the rest are shorter. I’m certain everyone will be on their best behavior and no shenanigans will take place in any hotel parking lots.

Ok, so I can’t take off work and run around the country to test these tracks IRL, so time to fire up the Sim:

Flatrock being so new, doesn’t have LIDAR data so no one in the modder community has been able to put out a version of the track yet. That said, one does exist. The management team at Flatrock have one in a sim… they just haven’t shared it: https://www.facebook.com/share/v/fCZZR5NAXb8VrkGT/

I’ll keep working on the missing tracks.
